Why did the Allies consider the League of Nations when developing the United Nations? The Allies wanted to understand clearly the weaknesses of the League. The Allies thought it would be best to recreate the League because it worked so well. The Allies believed that the United Nations should also be based in Geneva. The Allies understood that the United Nations needed to celebrate the League's success.
