FANS + MEDALS!! PLEASE HELP!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Judah made bracelets to sell at his school’s craft bazaar. He made seven dollars for each bracelet that he sold. Write a function rule to define the total amount y Judah made based on how many bracelets x he sold. Give an example of how the function rule works. Which is the dependent variable? The independent variable?

Somebody please help Dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I don't know this at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But it should be something like: y= 7x Dependent - y Independent - x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure how to do this either

@tkhunny PLEASE HELP!!!

OpenStudy (imstuck):

ok, the function is this: y = 7x This is so because y, the amount of money made, = 7 dollars times the number of bracelets sold, x. The independent variable is x, the dependent variable is y. Y, the amount of money made, depends upon x, the number of bracelets sold.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

An example of this function would be this: If he sold 10 bracelets, which is x, at $7 apiece, he will make $70. 70=10(7)
