I write for my broken passion
my question : where have you gone
Where have they all gone

I've looked all around,
They are no where to be found

Where is my answer?
What you speak I cannot concur
Your language, as foreign to me as my heart beat
as mysterious as the lake on a moonless night
But yet as vivid as the prime bloom of spring
And as painful as the blood that runs down the neck of a lamb

you have heard my cry, my angst
your replies give my soul no rest
These questions require an answer

I have called you my friend,
your voice gives me comfort,
your provision, through thick and thin, it is the breath
under my nostrils.
you sheltered me from the harsh glare of the sun
Yet I am still left burdened
because my friends none other, the ever familiar,
the air and the trees.
It is time to depart,
