Question: Explain how freedoms for African Americans were socially, politically, and economically limited from 1865 to 1900?
Well starting from 1865, there were allot of people who were still around and okay with slavery, and not allot of people treated the blacks nicely and no one wanted to hire and pay a "sleek-feathered one" (which was a racist term back then to call a black person, much like the N word) to work when they had owned them 5 years ago at no cost, so this made the blacks poor economically. Socially they could not find jobs because of they're race, and they were harassed and couldn't go too many places because of they're race, and politically hardly anyone would vote for a black person because people thought blacks had been slaves all their lives, when in reality there were black doctors, and such things.
Sorry it took this long for someone to reply, the history part of Open Study has been very slow recently. Hope this answers your questions.
