Find functions f and g so that \[h(x) = (f ∘ g)(x). h(x) = (6x - 14)^8\]

How do I find these functions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know that f of g(x) means that you substitute g(x) in the equation f(x). This is just working backwards. f(x) = x^8 g(x) = (6x-14). Since you substitute g(x) in f(x), you'd get (6x-14)^8. Checked.
