Suppose that farmers grew an unexpectedly large number of tomatoes this year. How would this increase in production affect the price of tomatoes?

If the farmer sells them directly to his/her customers (does not go through a store i.e. Publix or Wal-mart) and depending on the increase in production, the prices would potentially go down.
