Is the line for the equation x = 4 horizontal or vertical? What is the slope of the line? Select the best answer. The line is horizontal. The slope is 0. The line is vertical. The slope is undefined. The line is horizontal. The slope is undefined. The line is vertical. The slope is 0.
The answer is "The line is vertical. The slope is undefined.
well the actual point on the graph would be (4,0) So if you graphed that the line would be going straight up or else it would be part of the x axis and that wouldn't make sense
and if the line is going straight up the slope is undefined
I still don't get it
x=4 is another way to say the coordinate point (4,0). Then you would go to that point on the graph and im not really sure why you make the line vertical but thats just how t is. i guess because if you make it vertical, it will be on top of the x axis and that would be really confusing so yea
i mean if it is horizontal it will be on top of the x axis
