If f(x)=3^x , what is the rule for f^(-1)(x)=loga(x)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If f(x)=3^x, it's relatively easy to find the inverse function. Unsure of what you mean by adding on that '=loga x.' Clariflication, please. Would it be sufficient to find just the inverse of f(x0=3^x?
