OpenStudy (fionacndg):

What is T(-6, 5) of the point (-1, -2)?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

got picture?

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

It did not come with a picture

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

here what would we do

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

i means what thing would we find here

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

Do I have to find the "difference" between the two points?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

we cant answer this unless we know what T is

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

why would my teacher give this to me as a problem then?

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

I am so confused

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

same here

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

what are you doing in class? what class is this for?

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

This is Honors Geometry, Translations and Reflections

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

this is sort of like asking f(4) = ? we cant answer this unless we know what f is

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

is T a transformation?

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

maybe?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

let me ask you a question

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

what is f(6)?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

that feeling you are having right now, it how I feel:)

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

I have no idea except just to say 6 F.... I do not know why this would be on my homework then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lolll.. if T(-6,5) is for transformation rule to transform point (-1,-2) then the point should simply remain unchanged after translation..because theier is no factor innvolved inn translation to which we add or subtract from points coordinates..

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

So the answer would be that the point would remain unchanged ?

OpenStudy (fionacndg):

I am guessing so
