Mind giving a explanation for this one? http://imgur.com/bSrMpF2

@inkyvoyd

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

have you learned algebra yet? like x y z a b c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Somewhat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's why I want to practice over the summer

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

take x=sqrt(10). then the expression becomes \(\Huge 2.4*(\sqrt{10})+1*(\sqrt(10)\) or \(\Huge 2.4*x+1*x\) or \(\Huge 2.4x+x\) or \(\Huge 3.4x\) but \(\Huge x=\sqrt{10}\) so the answer must be \(\Huge 3.4\sqrt{10}\) I can give a few other explanations

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

if this one does not suffice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what is the answer? 3.4 10 doesn't appear on A B C or D

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

It's D. Look carefully

OH!
