okay, that's a good assignment. all you have to do for the first part is write your claim. so whatever topic you have/chose (I had banned books) just write a sentence explaining it. for example, my claim was:

"Books should not be banned because we live in a country where freedom of speech is the very First Amendment in the United States Constitution and it is not for one individual or one group of people to decide what is "offensive" material but rather for individuals to decide on their own."

then you write your counterclaim which is a claim made to rebut a previous claim.
so its basically a claim thats the exact opposite of your claim. so instead of talking about how books shouldn't be banned, I'd write a sentence explaining when books should be banned.

and so on

I'm sure you know what a hook and bridge are since you read your lesson. trust me, it seems difficult but it's not if you read everything and make sure you understand.

first you have to pick a topic then analyze an argument that's talking about that topic. my topic was "Are 'Trans Rights' and 'Gay Rights' Still Allies?"
