Sara is reviewing recent orders at her deli to determine which meats she should order. She found that of 1,000 orders, 390 customers ordered turkey, 345 customers ordered ham, and 300 customers ordered neither turkey nor ham. Based on this data, how many of the next 1,000 customers will order both turkey and ham? Show your work, and use complete sentences.

I would suggest making a venn diagram as so: T = turkey H = ham Total is 1000 orders , where 300 are neither turkey or ham, which means that the total for turkey, turkey and ham, ham is 1000- 300 = 700 so meaning 345 + 390 + x(which is both turkey and ham) = 700 so you simply find x which is your answer The venn diagram would make it more clearer |dw:1406229250007:dw|
