2. find the mid point of A and B.
3. write the equation of the line passing through the mid point of AB whose slope is the negative reciprocal of the slope calculated in step 1 using point slope form of equation of a line.
4. plug the coordinates of point p in the equation derived in step 3 and check if it satisfies it . if so the point passes through the perpendicular bisector of AB.
