is there a way to edit posted answers?

I just tried to answer a question, but made stupid mistakes. So I typed another answer and made yet another mistake. In the end I deleted all my responses. :(

Sadly there is currently no way by which you can edit your posted replies/answers. However you can edit posted questions.

ok .. so the only way to avoid posting crap is proof reading before posting :D
