medals all around

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to angle given all sides with trig functions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to find angle*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tan P = opposite/adjacent side which is basically tan P = 12/16 and then you simply do Tan inverse of 12/16 to get the angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SOHCAHTOA of course did that, and gives me 36.87XXXX but it was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really? 0.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yah the picture said 0/10 :[

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woah well I'm really confused then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it asks the same angle for sin and cos as well and comes up with the same answer and theyre all wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same side length

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont they tell you the answer at the end?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

picture of the same triangle and asking for same angle with sin and cos

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@paki @CrashOnce have a look at this please

OpenStudy (crashonce):

SOHCAHTOA should be correct. tanP should be 12/16 = 38.87 sinP should be 12/20 = 30.96 cosP shold be 16/20 = 38.66 Dont know why they are wrong this should be correct CO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you dont do inverse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he did do inverse, he just didnt show it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(or she) :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause i did inverse tan12/16 =.643501108 then converting that to degrees getting 36.87

OpenStudy (crashonce):

yea thats the same thing i did inverse but didnt show it and @Purplerainbowcherry im male

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but u got 38.87?

OpenStudy (crashonce):

sorry @jimmy654 my bad its 36.87

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah it didnt accept it on the system -_-;;;

OpenStudy (crashonce):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh whoops CrashOnce, I had a feeling but I waned to make sure because i said it XD also maybe there's a glitch in the system? :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

time to email the teacherrr~

OpenStudy (crashonce):

yea you should @jimmy654
