prove that -sinx = (cotx-cosx)(cosx+1) i know how to prove (cotx-cosx)(cosx+1) = -sinx but i can't do the reverse solution.

OpenStudy (crashonce):

ah beginner as well though to convert to cotangent and cosine you will have to convert sin in terms of tangent and reciprocate it to get cotangent but it should work but im also a beginner so hope this works

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just can't expand -sinx alone

OpenStudy (crashonce):

well -sinx =sin-x or sin(180+x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops im sorry i got the wrong give.. here's the given: prove that (cotx-cscx)(cosx+1)
