How did the Renaissance begin?

The Renaissance started in Florence, Italy about 1350-1400. The start of the Renaissance was the end of the Middle Ages.

I can tell you more about the literature of it, starting to talk about Lord Byron, or do you need to know the economical consequences in Europe.
(Or economic changes caused by the Literature of the Renaissance )

Anytime:) I took British Literature this past year that talked a little about the renaissance, and wrote a mixed 10 page research paper on Renaissance Medieval ages and other Literature, so I should be good when it comes to this topic.
