Which of the following would be violated if the United States were to annex Cuba following a conflict between the two countries?

OpenStudy (anonymous_user):

I found this: \("\)The Teller Amendment. This stipulates that if the US were to intervene in the affairs of Cuba using military force it can only withdraw the troops, it cannot annex Cuba afterwards. The Monroe Doctrine was put in place to prevent European Countries from having a major presence and control in Latin America. The Platt Amendment set up relations with Cuba and required Cuba to lease the US land for a military, mainly Naval, presence in Cuba, this lead to Guantánamo Bay Naval Yard being set up. The Open Door Policy deals with Pre 1949 China where the US set up a military presence to prevent the European powers from splitting China up between themselves. The Roosevelt Corollary was established with the idea of enforcing the Monroe Doctrine by providing military forces in Latin America to prevent the European Presence. \("\) \(Hope~ it~ helps :)\)
