Triangle ABC has been rotated 90° to create triangle DEF. Using the image below, prove that perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes. You must show all of your work to receive credit. Triangles ABC and DEF are shown. A is at 4, 1. B is at 4, 5. C is at 1, 1. D is at 1, negative 4. E is at 5, negative 4. F is at 1, negative 1. Line BC and line EF are shown intersecting one another.
This is easy!
word written :/
I can do that.I'll explain it best as I can hun.
:D thanks guuurrlllll
Alright, hold on.
:)
um.. what grade is this math..?
i believe 10
I'm in 9th..
:?
hmm.. it seems the ABC Moves down 5 units then reflects iteslf..
*itself
so i just wwrite that?
hold on. let me check. sorry for the time.. :(
okay :(
Nevermind, I drew it out. Draw it out on graph paper and put another on top, trace ABD then put a pencil in the middle of the axis where x and y cross, then rotate the paper 90 degrees
but it's just needs to be word writtten :/
could i just write that? :/
I know. You'll get it I promise. Just do what I said, tracing it.
See, it's been rotated clockwise 90 degrees
C is F, A is D, B is E.
so...... hm.....
Triangle ABC was rotated clockwise 90 degrees, now the perpendicular and reciprocal lines I don't know about.. so that will be easy if you look it up on google.
*reciprocal slopes
Sorry Hun, I tried my best..
thanks. ill just write that :D
Don't forget you have to prove the perpendicular lines and reciprocal slopes.
this is hard....
I know.. I'm gonna hate this year.. if I even make it there..
HAHA DONT WORRY!!
I failed 9th grade on purpose in the beginning.. the rest of the year I was working my butt off and I still didn't make it.. I was missing one credit..
