OpenStudy (precal):
ok this is a rough sketch of 2^x+1
OpenStudy (precal):
Domain refers to all x values that are valid for your function

OpenStudy (superhelp101):
how would I describe the graph?
OpenStudy (precal):
Are you using all of your negative x values? 0 ? and all of your positive values?
OpenStudy (superhelp101):
yes
OpenStudy (precal):
when this happens we say the domain is all real numbers
OpenStudy (precal):
Now range refers to the y values the function is using, can you tell me if you are using all of your positive y values, 0, and negative y values?
