Hello @lupita1995 ! There are many ways of doing this. However i'll be telling you the most fundamental way which should work on almost any `windows` computer. ♦ Go to the screen of which you want to take screenshot. ♦ Press the PrtSc or print screen button (on top right portion of your keyboard) ♦ Now go to desktop--->Right click and select `New Bitmap Image` or simply open `Paint` ♦ Right click on the new bitmap icon which just appeared on the screen, then click edit, a blank paint window should open. (Skip this step if you directly opened paint in the previous step) ♦ Now press ctrl+V. Then save it (by pressing ctrl+s) You have taken the screenshot !

You can take screenshots much more easily by downloading third party applications.

I would ask first what is your computer's or laptop's operating system? different systems have different ways of achieving what you want with MAC OSX if you want a screen shot of the whole screen you can use a keyboard command COMMAND+SHIFT+3, but if you want a specific area of the screen use 4 instead. The screen shot is automatically saved as an image file into your desktop. With Microsoft Windows, depending on the version or edition, you can hit the "PRTSCR" or print screen key on your keyboard or you can use one of the snipping tools http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/snipping-tool For Linux, google it because this is rather long to type
