Which of the following points is a solution of the system of inequalities below? x + y > 6 y > x (6, 10) (2, 1) (5, -4) (0, -4)

it must be true for both inequalities
you have to use the x and y values of each point and substitute in both equations to see if you get them right
for example, for (6,10) ---> 6+10=16 which is indeed > 10 , and for the second equation, 10>6 , so this point satisfies both equations
now you have to do the same for the rest of the points

if you graph both inequalities and shade the solution area, you will see that you have many points that are solutions. It seems that you will have to pick more than one point to suffice your answer.
