OpenStudy (capallan):

List 2 ways in which transpiration is different from translocation in plants.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Transpiration is the removal of water vapours from the aerial parts of plant that is stomata whereas translocation is the transport of water and dissolved mineral ions from roots and stems to leaves

OpenStudy (capallan):

I already knew that much. I needed one more difference!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tnaspiration occurs at day during high light intensity, low humidity, high temperature n high wind speed

OpenStudy (capallan):

And probably translocation happens either throught the day or at night, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Transpiration is favoured by transpiration pull, capillary action n root pressure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It happens during both day n night
