Fossil fuel power stations create a number of pollutants and most have some form of reduction although its only regulations that will cause these methods to be implemented as they all cost money. Plus we all want cheap power so putting the power companies under pressure to reduce emissions will ultimately cost us all as it already is doing.

The simplest and cheapest way to reduce pollution is to reduce demand. Every household in the country could easily reduce their demand by anywhere from 20% to 50% with no problem, this would be a direct reduction of the same amount of pollutants. Its not about whether you can afford to leave all the lights and air conditioning on in your house all day, its whether you have a moral obligation to control it or you need to be forced to control it by price or other means.

Power plants burn tons of fuels, they contaminate a lot. The way we can reduce their pollution is making a letter to the government telling them to start using renewable energy, and if the goverment does not read the letter we can also make campaigns agaisnt power plants that burn fuels.
