Here is an example for the story “The Cold Equations:” If the prompt said: Who would you consider to be the antagonist in the story, “The Cold Equations?” A strong topic sentence might look like this: In “The Cold Equations,” the antagonist would be Marilyn because she broke the law when she snuck on board the ship.
