I believe you simply need to make up a value for p and put it into the formula to get your output value and that will be your ordered pair.

f(x) = - x + 6 --- f(x) is the same as y

y = -x + 6

so lets pick numbers....

when y = 0
0 = -x + 6
x = 6

so when x = 6, then y = 0 ......(6,0)

now pick another number
when y = 2

2 = -x + 6
2 - 6 = -x
-4 = -x
4 = x

so when x = 4, then y = 2 ...(4,2)

ans so on....that is how your find your points
