Why did the United States want to remain neutral in the European war? America was very busy dealing with the progressives and other problems. America not did not see how getting involved could help the United States. Americans do not like to fight. America did not want to send troops to fight in another country's war. Americans felt that it was not our business.

Why did the United States enter the war on the side of the allies? Americans did not like German food. Americans could speak the same language. Americans thought they were right. The sinking of the Lusitania and the Zimmermann telegram spurred the U.S. to enter the war. They gave us a better deal.

The sinking of the ship and telegram one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did the allies finally lessen the threat of the German ships? The allies had their own ships and no longer needed to buy ships from the Germans. The allies ignored the German ships thinking that if they were ignored the German ships would return home and no longer present a danger. The allies used convoys to escort merchant ships and minefields to stop ships heading to the North Atlantic. all of the above none of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which one are you thinking it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They used convoys to defend against u boats

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why did the Senate refuse to ratify the Treaty of Versailles? They did not want to join the League of Nations. They though it was far too complicated. They were not satisfied with the terms of the agreement. They thought it was too inconvenient. They thought it was really all about countries in Europe and had nothing to do with the United States.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
