(Calculus) IBP fans, THIS. http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/20397/striking-applications-of-integration-by-parts
I love integration by parts <3
i hope it loves u as well :P
Haha at times :p
Very nice
I thought so to :) If you guys are interested in IBP applications check this out, people are always adding to it. @ganeshie8 @Kainui @vishweshshrimali5
Yeah, Hamilton's Least Action Principle is pretty cool use of IBP no doubt! Another cool use is for understanding the Laplace Transform: http://www.mathpages.com/home/kmath508/kmath508.htm
Actually now that I think about it, one of my favorite uses is if you do integration by parts an infinite number of times to get an infinite series. That's pretty cool. =) Here's a really cute and very readable introduction to the idea! http://www.jstor.org/discover/10.2307/27643080?uid=3739920&uid=2&uid=4&uid=3739256&sid=21104534435603
