OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

reaction types

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

Which of the following is true of physical properties? Physical properties include properties like mass, color and flammability. Physical properties cannot be observed without changing the identity of the material. Physical properties include properties like density, melting point and ductility. Physical properties describe the potential for the material to undergo a reaction.

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

its either a or c .-. im not sure which because like mass and color are physical but is flamability?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

flammability : you get flame when u burn something, is burning a physical change ?

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

... it turns into ash so kindof

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

but you see the flames

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes, can u create the burned stuff back from ashes ? nope, so burning is NOT a physical change.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

consequently flammability is a chemical property

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

oh that makes sense XD i will magically turn this ash back into a tree!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

i think its possible, but you would be needing lots of energy(a nuclear reacter) to convert ash back to tree haha

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

XD or you could just get a fairy or forest elf c:

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well the product of combustion of plants is CO2 and H2O. Unsurprisingly, photosynthesis uses CO2 and H2O to make plants. So you don't need anything special, you just need some seeds, light, dirt, air, and water to reverse the process haha!

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

ash does make the ground more fertile so i guess thad work too

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

lol i too like the idea of fairies to photosynthesis/nuclear reactor xD
