Marquette has $150 in his bank account at the beginnin of week 1 and will add $25 at the beginning of each subsequent week for tutoring a neighbor in math. What is the explicit formula for this sequence? Write in terms of A(n) and use no spaces in your formula.
well he started with 150 and adds 25 each week which number will have the variable?
A(n) = 150 + 25x 150 is your constant because thats what he started at. 25x is your variable which is changing over time where x = number of weeks. Unless someone can correct me, I'm reading it as simple as it is! Hope this helps!
@adam.bloedel we are not to do the work for them please dont do it in the future
For as long as I've been here, and its been over a year now, we can answer it as long as we give them the proper explanation and demonstration. To my knowledge, it has not changed. If it has, I do apologize.
They are here to learn they are not going to learn by people doing the work for them they have to engage in some way
So how would you suggest to help them if you can't help answer their question. They want to be shown how to do an example so they can apply it to other questions of similar types.
make them engage in solving the problem
