You are ordering a pizza and soda for the big game. A deep dish pizza costs $10.25, and a two-liter of soda is $2.00. For each touchdown that the Eagles score on Sunday, Vinny's Pizza lowers the cost by $1.50. How many touchdowns will the Eagles have to score for your bill to come to $4.75? Explain how to solve for the missing value using an equation.
Total initial bill = pizza + soda = 12.25. Discount = -1.5t where t = touchdowns Therefore in order for bill to equal 4.75, 4.75 = 12.25 - 1.5t. Solve this for t and you'' find how many touchdowns will make your total bill to be 4.75!
thank you so much :D :D adam.bloedel
@adam.bloedel again people are here to learn they cant learn if you do all the work for them let them engage in finding the answer it's against the coc to do all the work
I didn't. Again, I illustrated the scenario, and gave him the the final setup to solve. This is how this website has worked since I've been here and its how I will continue to teach. They see a sample setup, they solve that setup with the final answer SET UP for them, not given. Then they are able to relate to all the other different problems and learn that way. That is how I learned to demonstrate and answer problems and it's how I will continue.
no thats not how this website works this is for ppl to learn not ppl do the work for them they need to do the work
you cant hold their hand
We'll just agree to disagree then. Good day. :)
no you're violating the coc if you don't want your account suspended follow the coc :)
