OpenStudy (amilapsn):

Have you answered the first part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. Just draw the argrand diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In fact, I know how to get the values (maximum and minimum) of z when argz=3/4pi(maximum z) Just dont know how to get when argz is minimum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is part (i)

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

What is the definition of arg(z)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know complex number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is the tan(angle between z and horizontal axis)

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

So when does z have the max & min args

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

I think arg(z) will be maximum when z is represented by A, & minimum when it is represented by B... But I's not sure about B..
