What is the circumference, to the nearest tenth, of the circle shown below?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

here the daimeter of the circle is given so can u find out thr radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do i do it

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

for a circle the relationship between daimeter and radius is \[r=d/2\] where r=radius and d=daimeter so for ur problem \[radius=r=9/2=4.5\] okay with this?

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

can u do it now? @Patels06

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

good so \[circumference=2 \pi r=2*3.14*4.5\]

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i go it its 69.08
