an electric bulb is hung up vertically from the ceiling
at a height of (a)meter from the floor show that the point of maximum illumination on the floor lies at a distance a/rt 2 meter from the point on the floor vertically below the bulb. it is given that illumination at a small area varies inversely as the square of the distance from the source of light and directly as the sine of angle made by the rays of light with the normal to the area..!! ???
