I got this wrong, i chose D but i dont know why its wrong? @abb0t Which of the following inequalities matches the graph? graph of an inequality with a dashed line through the points (0, 3) and (1, 9) with shading above the line -6x + y < 3 6x + y < 3 6x - y < -3 The correct inequality is not listed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wheres the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh you gave points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D should be the right answer all of those slopes gives 1/2 or -1/2 the slope in the graph is 1/.2 or close to that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SolomonZelman ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks but i dont know why my teacher said it was wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should call your teacher and ask her why it's wrong then give her your reasoning on why you think it should be right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help with one more, i already picked the answer but im confused on the >_

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following inequalities matches the graph? graph of an inequality with a solid horizontal line through the origin and shading below the line x less than or greater to 0 x greater than or equal to 0 y less than or greater to 0 y greater than or equal to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i chose B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well shading means that it's greater than or equal to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was confused on which way the sign should be going

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or has the equal to sign in the equation shading down would mean it's greater than or equal to and because it's on the orgin 0 is greater than or equal to y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y would be less than or equal to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it should be facing the 0 because its equal/greater than y.
