Which ratio is equivalent to the ratio 2 to 10? 2 : 5 1 to 10 one over three 3 : 15

Well, the second number is 5 times as big as the first number. Which one of your answers has a second number that is 5 times as big as the first number?

i don't know.... c???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, just multiply the first number by 5, and if it equals the second number then it is equivalent to your original ratio. 2x5 = 10, which isn't your second number for the first option. This means it can't be the first option. Try this for the second option.

oh so d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, the second option doesn't work...and the third option doesn't make any sense, so the answer is d. :)
