I'll split your question up into its 3 main parts: 1. Summarize the definitions of theoretical and experimental probability: - Theoretical probability is a way of estimating what could happen based on the information that you have; it is a calculation. Theoretical probability cannot predict what the actual results will be, but it does give you an idea of what is likely to happen in a situation. -Experimental probability refers to the probability of an event occurring when an experiment was conducted. 2. Explain a situation where you might determine the probability of an occurrence: - Flipping a coin or picking different coloured marbles from a bag. 3. What circumstances might bring the results of experimental probability closer to theoretical probability: - Keep repeating the experiment and averaging the results together each time you repeat. The more times you repeat your experiment, the closer to theoretical probabilty your results will become.

theoretical probability is what you expect to happen... e.g. tossing a coin and getting a tail has a theoretical probability of 1/2 experimental probability is the relative frequency of running an experiment. if you tossed a coin 10 times ahd had Head = 3 and Tails = 7 then the relative frequency or experimental probability for tails is 7/10 as the number of tosses increases the experimental probability gets closer to the theoretical probability hope it helps
