How are the stories of Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad alike and different?
this is how they are simulre Moses was the greatest Jewish prophet and also the liberator of the Jews when he led them from Egypt where they were slaves. Though Moses was a normal man, with several flaws, nevertheless he was chosen by G-d to fulfill a vital role in Jewish history. G-d spoke directly to Moses, and gave Moses the ten commandments at Mt Sinai. Jesus was one of many young Jewish preachers who claimed to be the messiah. At that time, there were many tiny sects on the fringes of Judaism, and many charismatic young preachers who sought to reform or change aspects of Judaism. Jesus taught basic Torah (Jewish holy text), but he also violated core Jewish belief by claiming to be 'god'. In Judaism, it is blasphemy to assert that any human could be 'divine' or that G-d would ever take human form. Thus Jesus effectively left Judaism, and of course after his death Paul continued and established the faith that we today know as Christianity. The Romans charged Jesus with *sedition*, which was a crime against Rome; the Romans at that time crucified thousands of Jews and at times the streets were lined with rotting corpses. Mohammed was the founder of Islam. He began by preaching to the Jews, but when they declined his offer to become part of the new Muslim faith, Mohammed was furious and turned on them. This is the start of the enmity that Islam directs towards Judaism, though Jews and Muslims can and do get on perfectly well in many instances
Instead of "simulre" I think you mean "similar", and why did you write"G-d" instead of "God"? There's nothing wrong with typing it. Other than that, thanks for the help. A medal for you!
Also, Jesus never claimed to be God. he only said he was God's Son.
