The volume of a cone is three hundred cubic kilometers. If the radius of the base is 6 kilometers, what is the height of the cone? Use three point one four for pi. Show your work and round to the nearest tenth.

Volume of a cone V = πr^2(h/3). 300 = π6^2(h/3). 300 = π36(h/3). Divide the left side by 36pi, or 113.04 2.65392781 = h/3 Multiply by 3. h = 7.9617 or 8 rounded
