Hamas wants to end the blockade of Gaza so it can thrive and become a free nation, but it seems like Israel wants to keep Gaza blocked. Here's how blockade is done http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockade Hamas shoots rockets because of this problem, and Israel now is killing many Palestinians back in Gaza strip.

I was stationed in Afghanistan and its the same BS in Israel, the gaza strip has been one of those strategic topographic areas fought over for thousands of years and the Israel-Palestine war has been going on for about as long. In the end each autocratic despot is replaced by someone just as bad - if not worse - and its the civis who get caught in the cross-fire.
