What ultimately happens to the light energy captured during photosynthesis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is used to produce glucose molecules. It is turned into more chlorophyll for the plant. It is used to release the energy from H2O. It is put into ATP molecules for long-term storage.

I think it is A but I'm not 100% positive, can anyone check this? @Abhisar

@Whitemonsterbunny17

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes it's A

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Plants use chlorophyll, carbon dioxide and water to convert light energy into chemical energy. This energy is stored in the form of glucose (a carbohydrate)

thanks for the reassurance @Abhisar
