Gordon is evaluating some stocks he wants to purchase. You can see the function of the stock price below. Variable x represents days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Stock A: f(x) = 25(1.08)x Stock B:x f(x) 0 22.00 1 21.56 2 21.13 Stock C:The initial price of this stock is $30, but it has been increasing 4% each day. 1. Create the price function for Stock D. It should have the second lowest starting price and the second highest rate of growth. Using complete sentences, justify that your function meets these requirements. 2.Graph the price function for Stock D. Explain the key features of the graph with complete sentences. 3.A recent drop in sales has affected Stock D with the function g(x) = –6. Explain to Gordon how Stock D’s new price function, f(x) + g(x), will be created. Graph f(x) + g(x). 4. Gordon wants to fully understand what kind of changes could affect the money he is investing. Using complete sentences, explain the effect of the following transformations. Graph them and f(x) on the same coordinate plane. f(x + 2) f(–x) f(x) + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it says you're looking at the problem. and if you're looking at the problem but not reading it then what are you doing lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i give up lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@digitalcamera oh soz im doing something els

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not that good at math, sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JoannaBlackwelder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one min i can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i really hope so. take your time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cram can you help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@digitalcamera can you help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you look somewhere else? i'm trying to get help lol. post a question of your own

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@digitalcamera can you help me though?

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

I'll see if i can do any good :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes sure after this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it Inflation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk any more tired i am now helping digital bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry about that you two >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok @Tazmaniadevil helllllp please idk how to solve this one

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

since it started at 30 your first step will be to create the first part of ur exponential function: f(x) = 30(???) since we know it increases by 4%. so f(x) = 30(1.4)x would be a function for c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's a function for c? what is c? i thought we had to make one for function D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Here_to_Help15

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

Yeah sorry helping 4 ppl at 1 time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm idk how to do this one is harder then im use to girls i apologize though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol its no problem. so thats for #1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fine...@Tazmaniadevil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for looking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok taz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you said f(x) = 30(1.4)x. is this for #1 @Here_to_Help15

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/52bdd79fe4b04833919e6a9b go to this i hopes a lil
