A DNA strand has the sequence ATCGGC. Which is the complementary strand of DNA? A) UAGCCG B) GCTAAT C) TAGCCG D) UGTCCT
@CyanideMonster @kayrae99
You find the opposite lettering. A goes with T, and G goes with U. So for every A, the complementary would be T and for G, U. And Vice versa
I meant c and g. I apologize
so would it be C?
Yup:)
It would be d
thanks :) btw CR7 not neymar how would it be D? @Jesstho.-.
Its not D I promise. I just finished this unit in FLVS
the complementary strand of dna uses a = t; g = c MEANING if you have a in the original strand, you have t in the complementary strand A = T T = A C = G G = C G = C C = G
Which would be c...
confused now..
She said it was d then provided the answer for c
oh okay got it!:)
@kayrae99 @josemejia14237 I meant to say it's C and you can't put an answer without explaining it read the CoC!! http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct
I explained it first, then confirmed it sooo
You can't give our users the answers WITHOUT an explanation. You have to walk the user through the answer!

It's C
@Jesstho.-. You gave the same explanation as kayrae did. AND you gave the answer to the person who asked the question, never mind that it was the wrong answer. Kayrae never flat out gave away the answer. You need to check yourself. This is for future help.
