A system of linear inequalities is shown below:

y ≥ -2x - 2
y + x ≥ 0

Describe the steps to graph the solution set to the system of inequalities.

The first thing I taught my Algebra students to do was to pretend that there was an equal sign instead of an inequality sign. The inequality signs always freak them out. So let's look at these as if they were equal signs instead.
