When movies are being created, the set designers often use miniature models before they create the actual movie set. The set designers for Jurassic Park 3, created a 6 inch high and 4 inch long model dinosaur that represented a 20 feet long dinosaur on the set. What is the ratio of the length of the model compared to the length of the actual dinosaur?

@Loopki40 can you please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The length of the miniature model is 4 inches. The length of the actual dinosaur it represented was 20 feet, or 20*12 = 240 inches.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That means the ratio of the model to the dinosaur was 4:240, or 1:60

thank you so much!
