The solutions to a quadratic equation are x = 2 or x = −3. What are the x-intercepts of the related quadratic function?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

x=2 is the same thing as (x-2)=0, right? And x = -3 is the same thing as (x+3)=0, right?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

The solutions where x = 0 are the x intercepts of the equation. The solutions ARE where the graph goes through the x axis, and the x axis has an x coordinate but no y coordinate. Get it?
