They are not perpendicular...here it will tell you why. There are only two things about the diagonals of parallelograms that are always true.
If a quadrilateral is a parallelogram, then. (1) its diagonals bisect each other, and (2) each diagonal splits the parallelogram into two congruent triangles.
those are the only 2 things about diagonals that are a for-sure thing.
