HELP PLS!!! factor completely 3x^2+6x^2-24x

9x^2-24x 3x(3x-8)

like what really confuses me is the 6x^2

you just need to add the 6x^2 term with the other like term in beginning of the equation to result in 9x^2 so then you can factor

wait so that means it would be 9x^2-24?
