can you check my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who? Me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah sure what do ya got?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I chose option c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright wait a second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just to refresh you, how did you figure this out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I kinda guessed... Well since the first two were eliminated because they werent solid lines.. and because the sign was < i figured the top would be shaded... even tho i dont think thats the way to figure it out lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, you sort of got the idea, but don't guess. You just got lucky haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright and if you aren't sure of the answer, test the origin which is (0,0) into the equation. If the answer is true (So like if turns out as 0>-1) Then the origin is included (shaded in) That's another way into figuring it out if you aren't sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This would be option 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah! You got it. What math are you in? Oh and thank you for the medals! It means a lot :) It's my first day on this website! But in case you need any more help, just ask me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh and can you tell me how you got your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I plugged in all the choices and only one was not under 60 so I figured that one was the answer. & no prob :) I have 3 more... Im not 100% sure with these so I just want to make sure since I got 20% on my first attempt so I want to get a better score for second / last attempt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think the answer is for question 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Option D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct! And Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well looking at the options none of them really made sense so I figured the right one wasnt listed.. Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, yeah!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the second one im thinking... the fourth option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since its horizontal it should be y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is not a b or c because if it was the - side would be shaded in (this is still for question 1 but moving on)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it is the fourth option.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But why is y greater than or equal to 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why isnt it less than 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh... hm... Wait... I plugged in 0 .. I confused myself . wouldnt it be 0>5 ? thats not true..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahaha okay just slowww down.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now explain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually I do not think that 4 is the right answer let me double check it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Meanwhile, EXPLAIN!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it is the right answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Already submitted it... I got a 60 % on that one.. oh well good enough lol. Now im moving onto compound inequalities ... U know ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Show me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What did you get wrong on this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dont remember all of them,, but I remember question 2 was one of them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which one was question 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The one where it had option D the correct ineqality isnt listed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww you should have asked me.. Well what is this subject?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NVM okay wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I wasn't sure of that one haha oops

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its ok : )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I don't know this one :/ Hope you get help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here I will reccommend some people to see this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for all your help. & ok :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ObeySoph▲ and @inkyvoyd Can you look at this please? Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your welcome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why don't you look up youtube videos on the subject compund inequalities they give you great step by step solutions!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats a good idea... okay, : )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I do when I am stuck! Yeah you are very welcome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just message me when you need any help with graphing and algebra and stuff like that! For now, "You learned from the best, now go do the best!"-Dill Is my name!
