I found the vertices for this problem, but I have no idea how to find the foci. (x^2/100)+(y^2/36)=1

see http://www.mathwarehouse.com/ellipse/focus-of-ellipse.php you find "c" using c^2= a^2 - b^2 a is the semi-major axis and b is the semi-minor axis c is the distance from the center (along the major axis) to get to the focus (go the other direction to find the second focus)
